Community Manager (Exeter)
If you know your high street inside out and can tell your Prada from your Pucci, then we have an opportunity for you to use your fashion and shopping knowledge to further your career. Based in Exeter, our client is an award winning tech based start up who is looking to recruit a Community Manager to join their growing team.
You will be helping to manage the issues that come with a rapidly growing user community. Tasks will include:
- managing the site
- managing communication in the Support Forum
- managing the Facebook Page
- managing the Twitter account
- replying to emails from enthusiastic users
- reporting bug issues and user complaints
The site is based around High Street fashion and a love of shopping is essential. We are looking for a serious shopaholic here with a great eye for a fashion bargain. Extensive knowledge of aspirational brands and high end fashion is also very important.
The successful candidate will be spending a lot of time talking and writing to both the community and retail and marketing partners. Therefore it is absolutely imperative that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The Community Manager will spend a lot of time on Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter and it is extremely important that you have great experience in social media – we are looking for people who might already have a really great blog, lots of Twitter followers or participate in online communities.
A degree or proven experience in journalism, PR or marketing would be a great foundation, but more importantly we are looking for people with drive and passion, who want to combine something they love with being paid to do it!
